A moment of joy: I put up some xmas lights outside of my window so I can see them and they can make me happy, and as I was putting them up around a tree the neighbourhood siamese kitten came to investigate and attack the tangled lights and get scritches.

Absolute waste of an entire day: woken up in migraine agony at 4:45am, took my meds, slept until 2pm to try to beat it, still had a headache too bad to function, spent the whole time between 2 and now napping and eating enough to take painkillers. Head still hurts.

Giant reorganization in my work area, all that I ask is that a) you don’t reorg me out of having a job and b) someday we can actually have a meeting where you tell me what’s going on rather than just… a half an hour of ppt slides that say nothing specific.
