I wish I was surprised. Buried in this Budget is a plan to slash the Digital Services Tax, giving a multi-billion tax cut to US tech giants and the likes of Elon Musk.

That's right, cutting taxes for the world's richest man while hiking them for millions of hard-working Brits.

Nigel Farage has spent £1m taking out adverts in the papers to distract from the Nathan Gill Russian bribe scandal.

We can't let him buy himself out of this. We need an investigation into Russian influence in our politics.

Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

Folks, I really need some help. For the last 10-15 days, I've been pretty much out of action, which has put me two weeks behind on promoting my Film Stories 500 show in London next week.

I'd be grateful for any help/support in getting the word out.

Thank you.

And we knew this. This wasn't speculation. We studied it, we had the talking points. We trained volunteers to explain this to people. It's not a surprise. Rich people don't flee places with good quality of life when we increase the quality of life. They might try to cheat us, but they don't leave.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:

FRANKENSTEIN is on NETFLIX but- still in many theatres- please consult your local listings and choose your watch/rewatch preference!
Where do I even begin? Guillermo del Toro @realgdt.bsky.social has created an absolute masterpiece. I only wish I’d had the chance to experience it on the big screen. The story of Frankenstein has been told countless times, but never like this.

Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

LOVE seeing glowing takes coming in for #TheNakedGun, it's genuinely a properly funny laugh, really nails the tone. There's some duff jokes, but SO many coming thick and fast that you'll be right back in within seconds

#Superman is an endearing, goofy (if overstuffed) adventure befitting the Big Blue Boy Scout. It's got flaws, sure, but I don't see how you could fail to be charmed by David Corenswet and the humour, heart or Hoult's wicked turn as Lex Luthor, or Krypto (the true star). Lots of fun: go see it!

#28YearsLater - takes some BIG swings, evolves the whole mythos, boasts some real visceral gore but I can't say it was scary (and I'm a horror baby). Tone careens between black comedy, family drama and tense thrills

Had a LOT of fun with it, regardless, definitely a worthy sequel

Took the train home standing next to Shaun Wallace, aka "The Dark Destroyer" from ITV's The Chase, and I only clocked him because he was watching another quiz show on his phone and answering every single question quietly under his breath.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

#TheLifeOfChuck is a life-affirming, sweet movie chronicling and finding the joy and challenge of just getting to spend time on this little blue planet. It's very endearing, and one I haven't stopped thinking about since I left my showing earlier this evening. Hard recommend from me

Can't even express my incredulity. So because you and your cadre of rich arseholes want to be able to try and hoodwink the world into believing we need this stuff... We should just let you?
My plans for a major retail emporium are being threatend by wholesalers who won't let me steal the stock.
