I love watching our young Red-Tailed Hawks discovering their world. This one is fascinated by a bumblebee that's crawling along the pavement. The hawk followed it for several minutes, studying the tiny creature, before the bee flew off. 🪶

Very weird thing happening with the Signal chat conversation where a lot of people are acting like the biggest problem is that the murderers are bad at opsec. And not the murder

ME: *writing in my journal with the sole aim of pissing off future historians and archaeologists* I returned to my home - which is built in the usual style - by the normal way, and prepared and ate dinner in the way I often but not always do

I'm a day late but here is a Lady Ross' turaco for day 1 of #birbfest ! Done with ballpoint pen and my first art of the year (and almost signed the wrong one)

I'm not sure how much of this I'll be able to complete but I'll have a good try.

I will never stop thinking about how, after Biden got elected, many of the people who were screaming about kids in cages never bothered to check whether those kids were still in them. A Dem was in office, so they went back to their lives as usual.
The inability to recognize the real harms that Democrats do to migrant children is part of the problem. What Obama did was deeply inhumane – which made it easier for Trump to be even more draconian. On the last four years, Biden instituted Stephen Miller’s most extreme policies.

Cool foraging behavior you can sometimes see Northern Mocking Birds do, where they spread their wings and reveal the bright spots underneath. Its thought to scare prey. #Birds #Photography #Nature
