Yeah, I went to check my settings and I've had "smart features" turned off since forever. There was nothing to change in settings.
But since google routinely disrespects changes I make to settings (just! forward! my fucking! email!), it pays to always be vigilant with this asshole company

Do the eleventy thousand public school systems that rely on Google (Gmail, docs, Classroom, etc) know that the company, with the flick of a switch and with no notice, is now training its plagiarism machine on child student data?

Google has started automatically opting you in to let it read your stuff to train AI. You need to turn this off in SEVERAL places in your settings (not just for Gmail), if you want to maintain privacy and confidentiality.

I’m glad I ordered a sample of my rocking Alastor standee cuz it has defects that need to be fixed. I also need to adjust the hole placement on the base too. It’ll take a bit longer before I put him up in my shops cuz I wanna make sure the quality is there 💜
