Why not call them up to do something else? Pick up trash in Peoria or mow lawns in Rockford? If their time is gonna be wasted and lives disrupted, might as well put them to work doing something that actually helps Illinois rather than have them be cosplay extras in the feds' swat team music videos.

I think this Kimmel (and others) 1st amendment stuff is manna from heaven from a framing perspective. This country was literally founded on the idea that a king couldn't throw a critic in jail just for criticizing him (the king). 1/
