i’m probably preaching to the choir here but it’s really important to loudly oppose laws like this, even if you personally have questions about letting trans people play youth sports. the end goal is to legislate trans people out of existence, republicans aren’t being quiet about that
Happening now, a transgender sports ban is being heard in Congress.
This ban might ban trans people from dancing, darts, and even chess in many universities.
It'll also target 9 year olds playing soccer.

i think there is a lot of talk about how the bad bunny album pays homage to classic puerto rican sounds but I think the way to think about it is that its an album making the argument that these are all 1 sound.

I’ve been saying for years that a thing people want to avoid about violence and killing is the pleasure that comes from. For the ones who do it and the audience they serve. That’s in service of making the killers sympathetic as much as it is an effort to believe in a world where evil is abnormal.
