This is basically relevant to like, a few people I can count in one hand, but this also kind of impacts Toei tokusatsu works - Sentai/Rider use Fontworks types extensively so things may look different for seasons to come
The Japanese game development scene might have a major font shakeup in 2026, as FontWorks gradually ceases their LETS game font licensing for companies in Japan:
