Honored to have a new poem published by @glasspoetry.bsky.social today.

It’s about my Queerness, my grandma, and being glamorous af. I also didn’t realize it would be coming out a couple of days after her birthday.

Happy birthday, grandma.
Today on Glass!

It shouldn't matter if Trump’s victims have criminal records. If we only defend the “innocent,” the fascists will argue that their victim “was no angel.” An anti-fascist rhetoric that carves out exceptions for imperfect victims is a gift to our opponents.

What is a ‘criminal’ immigrant? The word is an American rhetorical trap | Jonathan Ben-Menachem
Labels like ‘gang members’ and ‘terrorist supporters’ are an easy way to make humans disposable

It didn’t harm the anti-abortionists when someone got an abortion.
It didn’t harm cis people when someone changed their gender marker.
It didn’t harm anyone when a teenager used hormone blockers.
Fake outrage causes real damage.
It’s about control, not about preventing harm.

Just because you can't control every terrible thing doesn't mean you're powerless. Find a way to DO something. Think small, think local.

Here's today's suggestion: train to become a practical support volunteer and support people traveling to access abortion care. apiaryps.org/pollination-...

Let’s see you at 21.

This was in a K-Mart fitting room. It was the last time I’d go to a Black Friday with my grandma, the only person in my family who was nothing but happy for me when she found out I was gay and in love.

My biggest accomplishment at work:

People skip their breaks less and respond with some variation of “I will right now, no free labor!” when I ask if they’ve gone yet.

We should care about what’s going on in Gaza for MANY reasons. But if you need a selfish one, look up “imperial boomerang.”

Weapons and practices being used out in the colonies are eventually used on citizens as well.

Black people BEEN trying to warn y’all.
“Israel is reportedly using a new kind of weapon in Gaza: small drones that carry guns and fire at targets like snipers. Eyewitnesses in Gaza say these drones have killed many civilians.”
