I'm not smart enough to do stuff like make obvious bets against trump in the stock market to get rich, and that's not fair. they should invent a stock market for stupid people. perhaps with some sort of "digital currency"

Caves of Qud is out. A landmark work of complexity and craft. I can’t easily convey the love I have for it and its dev team, all I can say is that you owe it to yourself to buy it and spend time in its world. It is a completely unique videogame.

This is the only game I've ever played where I have hunted for every scrap of prose I could find in its folds just for the pleasure of reading them. It's a machine that turns dungeon crawling roguelike optimizers into dazed Borgesian monks.

We should view this as a symptom of an underlying problem -- the de-tethering of economic and political attitudes from economic and political realities -- rather than a cause for Trump's win
At least not in modern history. This is the thing every “inflation” and “the economy” explanation needs to be able to explain.

How do you write for a game like Caves of Qud?

Qud co-creator Jason Grinblat (@jfg.land) takes us on a journey on what it takes to create this novel world of language-driven science fiction. We truly believe Qud is worthy of writing awards like the Neubla for this year.
