Lots of animals love pumpkin! If you have a farm sanctuary nearby they may want your leftover Halloween pumpkins if they are fresh, clean, and unpainted. Contact them to find out!
Sheep, goats, pigs, birds, and many other animals love pumpkin! If you have intact pumpkins after Halloween or jack o'lanterns that are carved but not painted or rotting and don't have candle wax inside, contact your local farm sanctuary to see if they would like them as donations!

The Ballad of Buttery Cake Ass reads like it was written by Douglas Adams if he was raised in a record shop by Monty Python and Kurt Vonnegut.

“Get over yourself,” Aug Stone tells us, “and chase after the things that delight you and capture your imagination.” Do it without care for the result, do it with wild abandon. Do it, and be content with telling the stories you make along the way to the select few who will listen

It's not a very summery topic for a bonus episode but then it's not a very summery summer politically. With the Tories, Reform and right-wing press sounding increasingly Powellite, we thought it was time for a deep dive into the man, the speech, the consquences and the lessons. Proud of this one.
📣 New episode out 📣 @dorianlynskey.bsky.social and @iandunt.bsky.social discuss Enoch Powell’s so-called “Rivers of Blood” speech, the explosive political speech that brought far-right ideas into the British mainstream.
