Here we go again. Trump has told the UK that if we want a UK-US tech deal, we need to buy chlorinated chicken from the US! 🤢🐔 How dare he try to impose poor food standards in Britain. Sign the petition to keep chlorine-washed chicken off our shelves:

Why every vestige of Trump must be torn down
He's trying to create a physical legacy. The moment he's out of power, it has to be smashed to bits.

“None of us can guess how the Trump assault on the BBC will play out, because he wields unprecedented power, unchecked by personal dignity or decency.”

No. We can’t. But we can condemn forever the repulsive British politicians and media gobshites who would side with him instead of us.

A happy day to the folk keeping our Iron Age faiths alive, and to all the lapsed who like to honour tradition anyway, and to the pagans tying us back instead to our Neolithic respect for the earth and skies around us. To everyone, 🕊️❤️ and no more war. x

Why do politicians bother with their Xmas video messages. No one cares and they could do us a favour by leaving us alone for one day of the year

It would be nice if a British leader could say the same: and stand up for London, it’s Mayor and the BBC at the same time
This is the first time Macron has retaliated so angrily against the provocations of his alleged "friend" Donald Trump. The policy of appeasement and flattery is breaking down.

Letter to the FT that stingingly sums up Brexit and the shit creek we now find ourselves in.
A terrible idea (naive, prejudiced and uninformed) that has deeply divided us and left us poorer and less secure… but unwilling to face up to the damage we’ve done to ourselves. While the EU moves on.

Yes!
What I want is a TV documentary channel entirely devoted to documentaries with no quick-cut montages of everything about to happen, which don't give a fuck about keeping my attention, presented by extremely knowledgeable people in a terrible mood who have no interest in trying to make me like them.

The strongest memories I have are of the things I've done solo

I've done fancy holidays with partners, but that's a shared experience and it's a different feeling

When you do something on your own, the memory is 100% yours to keep and I love that
I am far more terrified of wasting precious years than I am of being alone.

NEW blog: Do the thing. Do it scared. Do it on your own.

Not many things in life will have you pumping your fist in the air, but watching little Tommy Robinson’s (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon’s) face and bravado drop when he gets called out for his racism and hypocrisy by boxer Ty Mitchell is one of them.

This is glorious. 🔥

One of my all-time favorite clips of Rob Reiner, from his Friars Club Roast in 2000, as he reads aloud Roger Ebert's infamous scathing review of his movie North. The man had an amazing sense of humor about himself. RIP.

If prayer could solve the uniquely American scourge of gun violence, it wouldn’t be the leading cause of death of
children in our country or kill over 10x the number of people who died on 9/11 every year. Instead, cowards like Donald Trump and his GOP enablers block any effort to end this madness.
Trump: "I've been fully briefed on the Brown University situation. What a terrible thing it is. All we can do right now is pray for the victims." (Trump falsely posted that the shooter is in custody.)

Okay. This is angering me.

First of all, “MAN”!?
We’re not in the nineteenth century FFS. There’s a better word and it is “Humans”.

And secondly - who the f£&k thought HUMANS only learned to control fire 50,000 years ago???!!!

www.theguardian.com/science/2025...
Man made fire 350,000 years earlier than previously thought, discovery in Suffolk suggests
Groundbreaking find makes compelling case that humans were lighting fires much earlier than originally believed
