An incredibly important election in a tiny country just went the right way. Moldova has resisted a huge Russian disinformation campaign and will not become a Russian puppet state.

The Department of Energy has now banned the following words and phrases:

climate change, green, decarbonization, energy transition, clean energy, emissions, sustainability, tax breaks, carbon footprint.

This is dystopian and should terrify anyone paying attention.

The part of Orwell's 1984 that everyone forgets is how human music has been replaced by soulless, machine-generated pop songs. The AI attempt to take over the film and music industries is an attack on the human spirit. Boycott AI actors. Boycott AI bands. Support human artists.

they should probably let people know this exists. And put it on Twitch. And have someone who knows how to stream comment over it.
Who has watched the 24 hour live stream so far that the house Dems are doing on the shutdown?????

This should be the biggest story right now and literally 45 people are watching

"War is peace" is literally from Orwell's "Nineteen Eighty-Four"
Hegseth: "As history teaches us, the only people who actually deserve peace and those who are willing to wage war to defend it. That's why pacifism is so naive and dangerous."

Senior military leaders are, overall, very smart

Nearly all are broadly experienced, around the world. They have spent their careers in orgs more representative of the whole US than most corps, law firms, finance firms, univs, media orgs.

They have learned to judge character. And honesty.

So far today, Chuck Schumer has said his strategy for preventing Trump sending troops into blue cities is to win over Republican senators (!) while Hakeem Jeffries praised Eric Adams's courage and authenticity (!!) while refusing to endorse Mamdani. Again.

These two gotta go.

MASS WORLD PROTESTS THREAD:👇🧵

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised.

While 90% of media (owned by 6 billionaires) were focusing on getting teachers fired for calling Kirk a nazi… there were mass protests all over the world!

Did you hear about any of them?

I dug up some videos:👇🧵

Countries with excellent education have STRONG DEMOCRACIES. When a President in South Korea tried to subvert an election, the people including the military refused. It was a peaceful rejection.

tried ChatGPT in depth for the first time days ago for a hobbyist writing project; even just hockey talk felt kinda gross

turns out it's all much more gross
