I am not married, so my sexual history is not relevant, but if you must know, I have some babies. Mainly by black ladies. But some by white. And a China-baby.
Listening to Real Love off Anthology 4 for the first time - I always thought Real Love had a better source take than Free as a Bird did, and this mix proves it

To be fair I was at an 8th grade reading level when I was in 3rd grade, so there was nowhere to go but down
I need to track it down but somebody posted a description of the different grades of reading levels and the general consensus that the median reading level in this country being 5th grade absolutely makes sense

They made an Emmanuelle movie in 2024?
And Naomi Watts and Will Sharpe are in it?
And (channeling my inner prude) it’s on at 1 in the afternoon?
And it’s on HBO, not Showtime?
And I’m asking questions instead of watching it?

And that is all?

Part of me is thinking ‘Is there really wood in the batter, or are people just chewing through the stick and then complaining about the splinters in their mouths?’
Also: I want a corn dog now.
About 58 million pounds of corn dogs and “sausage on a stick” products have been recalled by Hillshire Brands because there may be pieces of wood in the batter, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
58 Million Pounds of Corn Dogs Are Recalled Because of Wood in the Batter
Hillshire Brands voluntarily recalled the products after at least five people reported injuries because of pieces of wood in the products’ batter.

Anyway, good luck beating the brand so famously good at PR they bounced back from their products literally being poisoned by a serial killer.

sort of hard to reconcile “believing the rapture will be tomorrow” with “having opinions about vaccine policy for kids who aren’t born yet” until you factor in that nobody actually believes the rapture will be tomorrow or ever

I just saw a comment that said "I don't support what happened to Charlie, but Charlie supported what happened to Charlie."

THAT ... that's what I've been trying to put into words.

I know I’m not telling anyone anything new here, but this is a massive “Show me who you really are” moment for America’s mainstream media institutions: Faced with a naked authoritarian power grab, the Washington Post has decided to look for ways to normalize rather than oppose the regime.

Unquestionably the most dangerous and corrupt attack on the independence of US economic data in American history. Trump is firing the head of the BLS, a longtime civil servant confirmed 86-8 by the Senate, simply because the job numbers came in below his expectations today

Led Zeppelin - In My Time of Dying
I’m loading up as the song builds up - and go all-in as the song goes into overdrive
You're in a barricaded building, surrounded by a horde of ravenous monsters of some kind, your choice. The blockade and nailed boards holding them back are about to fail. What song do you play as you gather your weapons and prepare to fight to the bloody end?

Spoiler-free Superman comments:
I doubt anyone will admit this for obvious long-term job security reasons, but Nicholas Hoult is totally channeling Tom Cruise for his Lex Luthor - the vibes are rolling off him the longer he's on screen.
Also: Superman's great.
