I write sf/fantasy/apocalyptic novels for myself and my family, but I've been thinking of making them more public, and this is a good place to learn about that and meet other writers.

I think the more telling thing about the "woke pope" is that he's pretty rampantly anti-gay and anti-women, but he happens to have a few progressive opinions about immigration and climate change, so the alt-right hate him and think he's marxist. Typical.

This is a classic example of why hard-line pro-democrat people aren't able to be effective against maga. They're fundamentally in agreement with maga policies.

I get the social media pull towards seemingly inconsequential debates.
But food is super personal. Food is culture, family, relationships. It's a thing some people struggle with a lot in various ways, and judgement about food is a vehicle for bigotry.
We should treat our friends with compassion.

I have no idea how im going to be able to read Shepherds Crown aloud. I already struggle through the last 1/4 of any Tiffany Aching book because I'm such a softy, but TSC is also so loaded with deep feelings that I suspect I'll just weep through the whole dang thing. #GNUTerryPratchett #BookSky
