if you're into AI "advisors" and find their insights helpful, may I non-ironically recommend seriously considering: tarot

- connection to your subconscious
- therapeutic or confessional as need be
- patterns of meaning
- self-determined takeaways
- no need to google facts afterwards

Los Angeles, 2019. I am a courier, delivering important materials by hand. In order to navigate the dirty, crowded streets better, I glide through them on a pair of roller blades. I'm what's known colloquially as an ANDROID MURDERER. (There was a mix-up at the job name factory.)

My kid's school has largely stopped using the classroom air purifiers that they bought in 2021, because (I'm told) they have no budget for replacing their air filters.

What are we *doing*?

We're half a decade into studies finding that improving airflow in classrooms will reduce disease transmission enormously, and that bleaching surfaces etc. does very little. And yet nothing changes. Waves of flu and colds wash over schools, and the schools pretend it's an act of God.
The relative contribution of close-proximity contacts, shared classroom exposure and indoor air quality to respiratory virus transmission in schools - Nature Communications
The relative importance of close-proximity interactions, shared space and air quality to the transmission of respiratory viruses is not well understood. Here, the authors investigate this question by ...

Seriously I think this is the sell. When we say “this is how it’s done” it sounds prescriptive, people hate that. “You will like how it feels” is the winning message
Blocking weirdos is the one feature this app absolutely excels at. Two clicks & annoying strangers disappear forever. Unprecedented feeling.
I cannot stress enough that is some rando responds to something you reposted trying to draw you into a “but have you considered” discussion of it, they are not acting in good faith, and you just block. Please, embrace the blue sky way. block. block. block.

A beautiful thing about social media is people sharing! I never did get my grandma’s pierogi recipe so I never knew how to make them UNTIL someone (can’t remember whom?!) was talking on socials about how she made them every year and gave her recipe, which I tried, and it is PERFECT.
Project of the day: pierogies!! They are comfort food for me but are not a common thing in the PNW, so every so often I make a boatload. This batch was 2.75 cookie sheets (pictured: 2!) worth, and I have some dough left over. Maybe I’ll make noodles with them!
