A few weeks ago, PATH announced a series of service expansions that will finally reverse this trend. Though paired with a rather steep fare increase, these changes will finally put weekend PATH service levels above where they were 25 years ago. Huge congrats to all the advicates who made this happen

Here are the ridership numbers for the Newark bus network, the frequent network and other lines that also includes Elizabeth FY24 vs FY25
The 24, which runs between Newark & Elizabeth, has seen a dramatic increase in ridership. The 62 Newark Airport bus is seeing a decline.

#JCcrashes We are sad to say there was a fatal crash killing a driver on Route 1 & 9 and Halleck Ave yesterday morning. Route 1 & 9 is notoriously dangerous, and there have been 4 fatalities on Route 1 in Hudson County so far this year. NJ State and NJDOT must make much needed safety improvements.

my path train was rerouted to Hoboken (derogatory) because something is happening at the 14th st stop, to and from 33rd are suspended and the communication from humans outside the smartphone app is their standard abysmal

As we were sitting in San Diego’s Balboa Park doing an interview with KPBS someone came by on a bike and recognized us. Turns out Aidan is a listener and supporter – note the water bottle – and was just wrapping up a cross-country bike ride! What an awesome coincidence.

Expanding PATH service to EWR is crucial in linking three of the country’s most densely populated counties closer together with one of the region’s second busiest airport.
As a JC resident & a member of T&I, I care deeply abt public transit. I’ve heard from constituents & met w/ advocates like @hudcostreets.org abt the PATH. Today, I sent a letter to the PANYNJ urging expanded PATH services, incl. more frequent off-peak trains & extending service to EWR airport. Read👇
