"The economic harm caused to the UK by Brexit is nearly double previous estimates. Brexit is impacting GDP per person by 6% to 8%, equating to £180–£240 billion in losses. If GDP were 6% higher, Reeves would have £60 billion more to work with — without raising taxes."

Time for Europe to step up support for Ukraine in a big way.
The US is going to pull out and we must ensure that Putin's aggression and Trump's greed are not rewarded in any way whatsoever.
We must all pay to help Ukraine defend its nation.

I wish Zelensky and the Ukranian people the strength to make the right decision.
I hope Europe steps up its support for Ukraine and helps it to victory.
I deplore Trumps delusion that his 'plan' is for the good of Ukraine. It benefits him, the USA & Russia. Ukraine is being treated with contempt.

Mahmood is no better than Braverman and Patel. In fact, given she's a Labour secretary, she's arguably worse.
Who would have thought that voting Labour 16 months ago would give us not even a Tory-lite asylum policy?
Yes, it needs changing - but not this.

This was arrogance in excelsis and absolutely criminal. Not only did Johnson then discard valid professional, medical advice, his govt also proceeded to invent policy on the fly and were more interested in saving money and their own skins than lives.
Criminal negligence. They should all be in jail.
Did everyone in the UK forget that it was David Cameron & George Osborne that ripped up the preparation for Operation Cygnus that was to be put into force if there was a Health Emergency? This is on every bloody Conservative in UK parliament from 2010- 2024. Bastards every one!

Farage’s Pal and traitor, Reform UK’s Nathan Gill, took Kremlin bribes and the press handled it like a Reform Councillor seeing a fanny in real life - panicked, confused and completely unable to comment.

He’s sentenced tomorrow and I bet you’ve barely heard about it 👇🏼

There has now been 9 episodes of #BBCQT since it returned from its summer break

A Reform representative/mouthpiece has appeared on 5 of them:

Kruger - Nov 13
Goodwin - Oct 30
Dorries - Oct 23
Yusuf - Oct 9
Tice - Sept 25

But please tell me more about the BBC’s left wing bias

Dear friends. I’ve done something different launching Legenda by targeting independent bookshops. I didn’t drive all sales to Amazon. So I’m relying on those of you that are reading it to share reviews & spread the word. I want this book to be supported by readers, not algorithms.

Genuine Q for 'stop the boats'-type people who support the England footie team:
When you see Foden set up Eze's goal, Eze whack it home & the two players embrace in celebration, do you feel
a) great, because England have scored
b) great, because Foden handed it to Eze on a plate
c) sick, black guy?

Disgusting censorship & whitewashing.
Murder, genocide, ethnic cleansing, slaughter, carnage, massacre, obliteration and many more are all entirely appropriate terms describing the oppression Israel has visited upon Palestinians in Gaza & the West Bank.
It is unconscionable to pretend otherwise.

The Labour government is dancing to the tune of the right-wing media who are delightedly whipping up divisions that aren't there.
Starmer is right to declare focus on improving the lot of Britain and the opposition parties should grow up and get out of the school playground.
Stop dancing, Labour.

'Recovery will be achieved through growth', bleats the government. How about limiting energy-producers to 8% profit and cutting bills? Industry will have more £££ to invest & the public more £££ to buy manufactured goods.
Or we can stick to huge profits going on bonuses, salaries & dividends...

Another excellent 'Look what we've achieved' communiqué from the Mayor of London.
The Labour govt, which must have a head of PR or a head of comms, STILL failing to put out regular, frequent 'Look at this advance' notices.
Leave it to the msm, Labour, and you'll sink in a sea of negatives.
Do better
When I was first elected, evidence showed it would take 193 years to bring London's air pollution within legal limits.

Due to our policies, we've done it in 9.

In Brazil this week, we showed that cities are giving the world reason to hope when it comes to tackling the climate emergency.

Here's a lesson for the Labour government: Sadiq Khan is continually posting on this platform, identifying initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Londoners. It's great PR, keeps people up to date and makes the opposition run to keep up.
Pull your finger out, Starmer. This is a no-brainer.

In advance of tonight's Reds vs Real Madrid match, if you're a Reds fan and can't applaud TAA's - and, indeed, Xabi Alonso's - return to Anfield, you're no supporter of LFC.
Both of these guys are part of the club's history & got it where it is.
A million thanks to both (Hope you lose 😁⚽️)!

There is a good argument to tax excessive wealth. There is NO argument to tax voters who do not support the governing party. In fact, it's MADNESS to do this.
Trump is militarising Democratic states and prosecuting political opponents.
We do NOT want that sort of practice in the UK.
The richest 1% has increased in wealth by more than £2tn since 2010, nearly £3,500,000 each while everyone else's wealth decreased or flatlined

Less than 10% of them vote for Labour

There is a very easy way to raise a huge amount in tax by taxing people who don't vote for them
