Here's what I don't understand: if so many GOPs in Congress are truly getting death threats against themselves/their family, why aren't they recording the calls, putting them together and releasing them all to the public? Shine a light on it and the threats lose all their power.

A good moment to remember the Russia thing was always real. Trump's goal is to help Russia and Putin, always has been. He's trying to throw our democratic allies under the bus and America as well. Again, the Russia thing was always real.

US straight up called an ‘adversary’ by Europe. History is 99% the unintended consequences of plans going wrong, and in every rational measure the US is on track to become the world’s greatest threat - a lawless nuclear superpower willfully causing pandemics & the most global warming

Governor Glenn Youngkin two years ago revived Virginia's policy of lifetime disenfranchisement, which had been crafted by an explicitly racist constitutional convention in 1902.

Democrats just advanced a constitutional amendment to end that system, and massively expand rights restoration:
Virginia Democrats Advance a Measure to End Lifetime Voting Ban. Now It Gets Complicated.
The measure’s fate likely hinges on this fall’s legislative races: Lawmakers will need to pass it again next year. In the meantime, Glenn Youngkin’s harsh restrictions remain in place.

Why the fuck is a single Senate Democrat playing “everything is normal” by voting to confirm the Cabinet picks of a fucking dictator?

Do. Not. Comply.
You have ALL spent the last how many years calling him Hitler and now you’re like, ‘I’m a yes on Goebbels and here’s why…”

Fuck that.
Stop it. Now.

I get this is a 'no rest for the weary' situation, but these are important: there are 2 special elections for Dem-held seats in Virginia's House & Senate in *under a month.*

GOP gains would erase Dems' majority in each.

Dems favored in each, but strange things happen in low-turnout specials.

...but if hostility to the party so far outweighs any support for it, then you can't really be surprised when we lose.

Republicans rightly recognize that our elections are a binary choice. Democrats too often do not. So long as that asymmetry exists in our media, the right will continue to win.

A no less vital admonition that deserves attn:

STAND OUT

“But, Bernie… !”

No.

Where Bernie and other Democrats say, “WORKING PEOPLE,” or “WORKING FAMILIES,” like they’re an exhibit in a museum that they’re pointing out to a tour
group, George Carlin says, “YOU.”

That is all you need to know about the audience they think they’re talking to.

Nazism won once because nearly the entire populace of a country was cowed.

Fascism can never win when people see thru it. Nearly half of the American electorate do, let's never forget that fact.

The battle starts.

America needs leopard journalists now.

Journalists dedicated to showing Trump voters that the leopard always eats your face even when he promises not to.

The amount of staggering, life-altering pain Trump voters will have to experience to wean themselves off him is extraordinary.

But it's coming.
