Let’s clear something up: SNAP stands for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — the LARGEST federal program to fight hunger in the country!

Our native Black Cherry came up as a volunteer, and we love its many benefits. The leaves feed more than 450 species of butterfly and moth caterpillars, not to mention the tree feeding pollinators with flowers and mammals with fruit. Baby Chickadees can’t eat sunflower seeds. They eat caterpillars!
