I’m from the UK so I haven’t a clue on US politics but for days leading up to the election they were saying these 7 states were too close to call and could go either way, he won them all with a landslide.
Very suspicious to me.

In Germany there was a belief that if a badger emerged from its sett today and saw its shadow it would hibernate for another 6 weeks. When German settlers went to Pennsylvania they carried on the tradition but no longer had badgers so it was transferred to groundhogs.
