Well that is a new low from #Burnleyfc this season. I feel like I've stuck by them a lot through relegation seasons in the past but that was pathetic.

Happy Candlemas/ Groundhog Day
In Germany there was a belief that if a badger emerged from its sett today and saw its shadow it would hibernate for another 6 weeks. When German settlers went to Pennsylvania they carried on the tradition but no longer had badgers so it was transferred to groundhogs.

Following extensive research (ChatGPT) Burnley are the only team promoted from the Championship with 100+ points to have been relegated from the PL the next season and it's odds on for a repeat. The only other team that struggled were the Leicester team who won the PL the next season #burnleyfc

Only just hearing now about Dry January, why don't they publicise this more? Oh well 🍻

#burnleyfc I don't recall seeing this video before but I do have a memory of the goals at least!

A reminder that the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were Conquest, War, Famine and Death who were messengers of the end of days. Probably nothing in it...

It's almost time for Christmas tree planting on the Fylde sand dunes at St Annes. Such a great project to be involved with!

'Tis the season to give back to nature! It's that time of the year when we ask you to bring your old Christmas trees to the Fylde coast & reuse them to help stabilise our dunes!

I didn't manage it in January last year so I'm pleased with this from Lytham St Annes. Clockwise Daisy, Red campion, Shepherd's purse, Common sowthistle, Rosemary, Gorse, Groundsel, Seaside daisy, Greater periwinkle and Dandelion. Rosemary an escapee but was in flower! #wildflowerhour #winter10

Thankfully for me, the poor run of Burnley form has been mirrored by my beloved Seattle Seahawks winning the last 7 games, winning the NFC West and claiming the #1 seed in the play offs. Brilliant performance last night! #seahawks

Didn't expect anything else with the number of players we have missing but that was still shambolic from Burnley. Brighton haven't won in 6 games and we just gifted them the points. No idea where we go from here but something needs to change #burnleyfc

Sorry to hear about the passing of Gary Rowell. He only scored once for #burnleyfc but it was a 25 yard volley into the top corner at Turf Moor which is how I will remember him.

This was 17th January 1976. Leighton James has just opened the scoring for Derby County at Turf Moor. He'd been a Burnley player 2 months earlier but ran away, arms aloft and screaming. I know because I was one of the Burnley fans he ran past right at the front of the Bee Hole End. #burnleyfc

Cole Palmer out for Chelsea v Burnley tomorrow but how on earth do you break your toe by stubbing it at home??? I've stubbed my toes more than any person alive but never come close to breaking one. Suspect this is a cover story for stupidity! 🤣

RFC Fylde for me today. 17-17 against Darlington. 2 fights, 3 tries and a conversion each! Good competitive game

Disappointing result for Burnley after we were the better team for most of the match. Defensive lapses cost us again and not offering enough goal threat going forward. Oh well onwards and upwards still hopefully. #burnleyfc

MLB WS game 7 was an incredible piece of sport, glad I stayed up to watch and relieved I don't have to think about Seattle Mariners baseball for 5 months! Go Seahawks though!

Not much of a contest at Turf Moor sadly but at least we stuck at it and didn't fold like the Kompany team of 2 years ago. If you'd have offered us 10 points from 10 games I think every #burnleyfc would have taken that. Onwards and upwards!
