Excellent point and one missing from the above - the US would instantly lose NORAD. All those nukes flying overhead from Russia aren't targeting Canada, so good luck down there.

My first thought as well. How do you know their immigration status BEFORE making them a "target for enforcement"? As we've seen over and over, it's skin color, whether someone speaks with a different accent, etc. I guarantee most of these ICE clowns don't "talk like a Minnesotan." Detain them!

Yeah, the whole FIFA/Olympics thing is a bit silly. It's just sports. Who cares in relation to the military economic etc implications. MAGAts will still have NASCAR. They won't even blink about the world cup.

Why on earth are people so focused on the midterms? We had four years to resolve and repress J6 from ever happening again, and instead they came on full throttle fascist. I don't have an answer, but the midterms aren't going to do shit.
