“In Da Club” is #1 today in 2003 — the breakout debut single that Eminem and Dre produced for 50 Cent after he was dropped by his former label.

Asked once about the track’s staying power, he said, “Every day it's someone's birthday, so it never loses its relevance.” 🎂

Did you know that Richard Chamberlain was the FIRST artist to record Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "Close To You" in 1963 (Dionne Warwick recorded it a few months later, but The Carpenters made it a hit in 1970)?

A very talented actor, and he had a beautiful voice.

The unaired version of the first Twilight Zone episode wasn't narrated by Rod Serling, but by Westbrook Van Voorhis. Everyone decided that Voorhis' voice of God style wasn't quite right. For lack of a better option, Serling ultimately got the job.

Hubble captures the spiral galaxy NGC 2841, 46 million light-years away in Ursa Major. Its bright core, dust lanes, and blue stars stand out, but fewer emission nebulae suggest lower star formation. Fiery young stars likely cleared the remaining gas.
