Completely backwards.
Advocates were incensed when House T&I chairman Sam Graves dismissed walking and biking projects as not "traditional infrastructure," and vowed to exclude them from the next major federal infrastructure bill. And now, some are organizing against him.

The outlook for active transportation won't be good if advocates don't stand up.

Yes, Mr. President: You’re right. We do have “the worst health care” of any major country.

Despite spending twice as much per capita, we are the only major country not to guarantee health care to all as a human right.

The solution: Medicare for All.

Here in Seattle, furloughed NOAA employees were out in the pouring rain cleaning up beaches yesterday, part of a national week of service organized by federal workers who can't do their jobs due to the shutdown.

It's clear from today's AP photos that Trump has entirely demolished the East Colonnade—added to the White House by Thomas Jefferson in 1805—and restored by Theodore Roosevelt in 1902.

The East Colonnade didn't occupy the footprint of the Trump "ballroom"—its demolition was completely unnecessary.

It finally happened: Epson discontinued the inks for my printer (Epson R1900). How do you print these days? Do you have a home printer?

Everyone should read "Idiot America." It's an older book (2009), but that kinda makes it better.

Because the very things Charles Pierce tried to warn us about are happening

And it shows us how we've been hoodwinked, bamboozled, lead astray, run amok, and flat out deceived

We need to break up Sinclair and Nexstar.
Keep in mind when you watch #JimmyKimmel tonight that while he's back for now (without Sinclair and Nexstar his ratings will decline enough to cancel him later) there is a legion of people who lost their jobs who aren't famous, wouldn't have been personally OK anyway, and won't get their jobs back.

My name is first on the website the North American far-right is using to target people they say “celebrated” Charlie Kirk’s death.

There’s just one problem: I never did that.

But the people sending me threats don’t seem to care.

Let me tell you, in my own words, what happened:

I spoke to a tech activist attorney representing the parents of a teen who died by suicide, allegedly after receiving instructions on hanging himself from ChatGPT, in the first wrongful death suit against OpenAI. She believes we’re seeing a shift in public opinion on AI and can expect more suits.
