The U.S. government has often lied about things but I think it’s genuinely remarkable that we’re in an era where almost every public statement contains at least one lie.
After the FBI denied "children were zip-tied or hit with rubber bullets" in a raid in Wilder, Idaho, the FBI said no "young" children were.

The updated statement came after KIVI-TV sent FBI photo reportedly showing 14-year-old U.S. citizen in zip ties.

Every institution that has rolled over will regret it, they helped sow these seeds.

The cowardice has been profound and the eye of Sauron now aimed at the last piers of free society. As was predictable when the first law firm caved.
He’s not even pretending to have an actual defamation claim. He’s just mad they didn’t endorse him, to the tune of $15 billion.

The Stephen Miller factor is really important. He is the White House policy king, and has been previously bending resources towards immigration enforcement in ways that actually undermined their efforts to attack democracy.

Post-Kirk, he has openly declared his mission is repressing the left.

I want ICE gone. But at the very least, they need better training—they clearly don’t know what the F they’re doing.

🚨 A man was killed on the 210 Freeway after running into traffic while fleeing an ICE raid at a Home Depot. This is the second known death in Southern California tied to these raids.

Vladeck: There’s one video showing a DEA officer telling a D.C. resident he couldn’t drink alcohol on his porch—D.C. law says exactly the opposite. It also highlights how these officers aren’t even trained in the laws they’re purportedly enforcing.

Subway sandwich guy has been released on his own recognizance.

His attorney argued the felony charge was excessive, and the judge agreed.

Oh, and he’s a USAF veteran.

This guy's a vet and a lawyer who threw a sandwich and offered to turn himself in, so they sent a paramilitary platoon with a camera crew.

They have FBI and U.S. Marshal badges; apparently those agencies do no real work beyond camera stunts, harassing minorities, and filling concentration camps.
The White House posted an insane video of the police arresting the sandwich guy in a safe and wealthy neighborhood.

This is raw, ugly, lawless, violent racism and everyone with any power or voice should say so while they still can.
The White House’s official X account has a long thread in which they’ve posted pictures of people arrested during the feds’ occupation of the city. Every single person in the thread is a person of color.

Take a look. Not ICE. Just ordinary “officer friendlies” doing what this country allows them to do to unarmed Black men. Remember?

I really cannot overstate how fantastic biking in the AM is for my small person.

After the “get dressed” and “eat your breakfast” and “OMG put your shoes ON” struggles she gets to hop on her bike, take control, and move her body.

She walks into the classroom feeling like a million bucks.
