Good get by Greg. There’s a primary and all that, but this is consistent with a long-running pattern that genuinely anti-Trump Republicans and former Republicans are more prepared politically for the moment than the vast majority of elected Democrats and liberal elites.
NEWS --> Geoff Duncan, who's running for Georgia gov as a Dem after defying Trump's 2020 steal, tells me he'll oppose Trump sending National Guard into Atlanta or elsewhere.

He also condemns ICE raids and criticizes Trump for targeting liberal groups.

I’ve heard military law experts advise, if you are given an illegal command as a soldier, do not blindly obey. Call your attorney. Obeying an illegal command can result in a court martial.

More on the “security guarantees” allegedly (per Russia) discussed with the US:

Guarantees are presented by UN Security Council that includes Russia, China etc.
In case of an attack on Ukraine, the members would meet and Russia would have veto power to block any move.

This is important. Highly irregular is an understatement. So much for the Rule of Law.
Yep, I reported this several weeks ago. William Pulte, a Trump loyalist, is using the FHFA bureaucracy to help Trump gin up fake pretexts for prosecutions of his enemies.

One former IG told me: “From beginning to end, this process is highly irregular."
