Today I discovered that Garmin graphs VO2 Max with decimal points! Not sure how much stock I put in this metric, but wow this is more motivating than 5 months of an unchanging flat line! The nuance!

The scale is whole numbers. How far I've fallen and how eager I am to climb back!

With DC's back against the wall, and arguably no good options to choose from Mayor Bowser still chose the wrong.

You're either for Home Rule or you're not. I'm so disappointed and frustrated by the Mayor's stance.
In response to a number of questions from reporters, Bowser declined to say that she would oppose Trump pushing to extend this surge past 30 days, as he has said he wants to do.

This is a moral moment for DC. Washingtonians are being taken off the streets and charged with crimes that even grand juries won’t indict. Residents are scared to leave their homes, and workers are scared to go to their jobs. All while they drag our city through the mud. This is wrong. Call it out.

Is this some new hustle or do I just give off "loves pickup soccer games with the fam and definitely has kids" vibes?

If Democrats ever take back power and this horrifying clown ever leaves office, once we're done restoring law and order, prosecuting fascists and all that, statehood for DC had better fucking be an indisputable national priority for the Democratic Party and pursued with vigor

Fuck it's bleak here

For nearly two weeks straight Trump has escalated his attempt to take over DC. Federal agents are now violently profiling, harassing, and arresting Black and Brown DC community members and their presence is a severe danger to people here.

Join us today at 3 PM to demand FEDERAL FORCES OUT NOW.

Due to the Federal law enforcement crackdown in DC this week, I am relocating my usual crime activities to Delaware for the next seven days.

I hear the beaches are nice.

So proselytizing in the Federal workplace is fine so long as it's not harassment.

What's a non-harassing way of telling someone their religious beliefs are incorrect, immoral, and they're going to hell?

First up: Male wood duck, this morning in Rock Creek near the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Hey @metrorailinfo.bsky.social what is going on with the violent shaking on 7K trains on parts of the orange and silver lines near East falls Church? It's been frequent in the past 6 months.

Given the derailment history on these cars, are you investigating this? Any public explanation?

As always, I appreciate the coverage and regret the forced framing.

Every new street design takes some time to get used to. Narrower streets are safer, slower, more careful streets. This small project on Marineli Rd has been in the works for a decade and it looks great!

I'm not sure winning by 360 votes constitutes a "mandate" or the people "speaking". If anything, a 500 vote spread between 4 candidates shows that the few people who showed up mumbled or something

I'm sure if everyone just protested mass deportation "the right way" there'd be no need to send in the national guard or shoot tear gas and rubber bullets into crowds.

Feeling for all the folks in LA right now. And hoping that the tanks and soldiers rolling into DC right now aren't here to stay.
