Today I discovered that Garmin graphs VO2 Max with decimal points! Not sure how much stock I put in this metric, but wow this is more motivating than 5 months of an unchanging flat line! The nuance!

The scale is whole numbers. How far I've fallen and how eager I am to climb back!

Is this some new hustle or do I just give off "loves pickup soccer games with the fam and definitely has kids" vibes?

Engaging only with the form and not the content, agree.

Also, anyone else find the kerning in the link tree to be completely impenetrable?

I'd like to have a word with the developers of the new @metrorailinfo.bsky.social MeteoPulse app because, on Android, the text and icons are so tiny, it's useless for me. The app shouldn't require 20/20 or better vision.

It's really hard to launch a new app, and I really hate to bring negativity.

There are different levels of automation. WMATA was designed to level 2, which is currently operating on Red Line. Level 4, the new goal, runs the trains much more efficiently without operators directly driving.

When the Revolution comes and Capitalism falls and I'm asked what radicalized me, this will be one of the notable events.

If your package says "Actual Size" it better fucking be actual size, you nerf herders!

I'm coming for you Band-Aid Brand. No jingle or flexible fabric will keep you safe

@metrorailinfo.bsky.social a platform passenger info screen at East Falls Church needs some admin attention after a software update. Good to know it runs modern windows

@bikeshare.bsky.social looks like the station at 6th & K St. NE was hit by a car recently. One dock is obliterated, but the others and all bikes appear to be unscathed. Sorry to bear the bad news ☹️

new luxury suite design or post apocalyptic nuclear fallout shelter for a tiny community of wealthy and politically connected to live on while the earth burns?

Have none of them played or watched Fallout?

If there's something strange
In your neighborhood
Who you gonna call?

Well, I see something strange, and I'm probably calling my Ward 6 Councilmember because he probably has a plan. Don't see how kicking him out of fixes ... whatever this is

This is what you write when you actually hate the city you live near. If you can walk 20-30 minutes, then transit is the solution you want

The short PBL on 17th St SE from the ART to Potomac Ave is coming along nicely. Most of the line work is done. A few more posts and lots of concrete blocks to come. A pedestrian refuge island is in progress.

Can't wait for the extension onto Potomac Ave and the extension further north to C NE
