People are still dying while apparently we have a ceasefire
At least 25 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 100 wounded in an Israeli air attack on a school housing hundreds of forcibly displaced people in northern Gaza City, medical sources tell Al Jazeera.

*If* we think of LD and Green as both "unhappy with govt but not willing to vote right" options, then electorate right now is split into four near-equal quarters:
Pro-govt left (Lab);
traditional opposition right (Con);
unhappy with govt left (LD, Greens, some PC & SNP);
rad rt (Reform)
Our latest voting intention: small Reform dip, Tories slightly up & Labour at post election low, but biggest shift is Lib Dems hit 16% their highest from us

🌳 CON 25% (+2)
➡️ REF UK 24% (-2)
🌹 LAB 23% (-2)
🔶 LIB DEM 16% (+4)
🌍 GREEN 8% (+1)
🟡 SNP 3%(-)

Pandering to Reform UK will backfire — and vulnerable people will pay the price.

The curious thing about billionaires defying the rule of law and the orders of the court, is that their wealth depends entirely on enforceable legal rights: contract, property, and so on.

Those saying court orders have no value need to be careful what they wish for.

My head boggles when people talk about right in labour, the very concept of labour was to induce the progressive ideas within the country reaching far back to Second World War. This only shows more and more people are becoming radicalised and changing the shape of a progressive party to appease
Another advantage of PR is it might reduce the permanent dysfunction within Labour, as left and right factions could have their own parties rather than being forced to co-exist, as one Labourite once put it to me “like a divorced couple forced to carry on living together in the family house”
So it was a left-bashing group. A lot of Labour centrists who liked to accuse Corbynites of being uniquely aggro conveniently ignored that The Thick Of It was based on New Labour, not Corbyn

Ceasefire was only adapted to give trump a win closed to inauguration otherwise the plan was always to carry forward the genocide , this is why Israel agreed to it
I don't see how the Stage 2 ceasefire negotiations in Gaza can continue with one of the mediators demanding that it gets to conquer Gaza and exile all its residents. What deal can Israel and Hamas possibly agree now that satisfies Trump's demands too?

At least US started to realise what USAID has always been , an under cover mean to fund CIA’s ambitions , and yet, people like musk denigrate other countries for receiving the funds like they were stealing from US
Not only is Trump calling home all USAID workers from around the world and basically ending it, which decimates our intelligence gathering capabilities, he is offering buyouts to all CIA employees and trying to end the CIA, except to help him go after the cartels. Putin cannot believe his luck.

Can we for once see what it is without invoking Iran and its cronies to the conversation? It is forced displacement and ethnic cleansing and never in history , it yield any benefits except resistance and violence
Trump’s “riviera plan” for Gaza is delusional and potentially disastrous for the Middle East. It’s a boon to the enemies of peace (Sunni extremists and Iran) and will lead to forever war if implemented. Bibi’s delight is due to his own interest in holding on to power, on @tv2news.bsky.social
