I recently unsuscribed from the NYT, and yesterday I unsubscribed from their daily newsletter, because of their mealy-mouthed reporting on "the restructuring of government." Until they call it what it is - destruction with an eye to tyranny - I'll get my news elsewhere.

Jimmy Carter was the first president I voted for, and when I was hanging out at KUOW, Seattle’s public radio station, in the late 80s, picking up radio craft, he came through promoting his book and I got to shake his hand. What a lovely, inspiring human. 😔💕
