Feels like a good thing. I'd argue the quality of engagement has gone up. +1 needing breaks from the constant deluge of viral attempts, plus the migration to blacksky is becoming more a necessity at this moment as it might be our only forum to (relatively) talk to each other safely through all this.
Yea, engagement is absolutely down on here but I don’t think it’s because of Blacksky. A lot of people are addicted to the chaos and virility that Twitter brought so they dropped this app like a bad habit.

I also think there might be a bit of social media fatigue going on. If you're late Gen X to early Gen Z, you've probably been on social media for at least 20 yrs and many of the newer platforms are copycats of the well established ones. Not to mention changes like ads.

Apparently, Texas authorities in the area where the horrific floods occurred just spent about 25 minutes of their most recent press conference patting themselves and Trump admin the back - while families desperately waited for new info.
