National Coming Out Day: I always knew I was queer even from when I was very young. But Comp Het was so strong that I only realized I was a lesbian about 3 years ago and once that happened everything about me just clicked.

The "Starving artist" trope was started by ppl who didn't wanna pay artists (writers, painters, musicians, etc) & wanted it to seem a good thing. Artists suffering for art, starving artists, doing it for love only/shunning money - All myth turned folklore as reason to NOT FUCKING PAY US OUR DUE.
