On DOGE’s watch, federal spending did not go down at all. It went up. But is still led to cuts that closed offices, canceled programs and deprived people of food, medicine and other aid.

A criminal PARTY. Republicans could stop the kidnapping, imprisonment, and torture of people any time they want with congressional orders. They could stop the consolidation of media empires to hide the truth. Instead they choose to allow it. We are the bad guys because of them.
It’s the year 2025 and Americans have to watch a bootlegged international version of a news program because it was censored here in our country to protect a criminal president.

I don’t mean to sound extreme, but I don’t think we should have torture camps for people with criminal records either.

In Georgia, a mom facing eviction reached out to DFCS for help. They offered her nothing. Soon the agency took her kids away because of "inadequate housing."

The state then paid *$6,200 a month* to house her kids in foster care.

One of the most important and infuriating stories I read this year:
When Families Need Housing, Georgia Will Pay for Foster Care Rather Than Provide Assistance
In more than 700 cases over five years, Georgia reported inadequate housing as the sole reason for taking a child into foster care, a WABE and ProPublica analysis found. Advocates say it would be chea...

Switching to the Danish vaccine schedule in 🇺🇸 would be insanity. (1) The US, unlike Denmark, does not have universal healthcare, and (2) the Danish vaccine schedule is very poor (e.g., no chickenpox & rota vax. I vividly remember having those as a kid in 🇩🇰. Just 👎).

This is the worst case scenario that everybody was worried about
It is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. plans to end CDC recommendations for most childhood vaccines.

It’s a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States.

And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).

🎯 "The U.S. should be funding expanded use of the HepB birth dose in G-B and not experimenting"
A couple more thoughts on the HepB vaccine trial in Guinea-Bissau that RFK Jr. just funded.

-A single-blind study is concerning

-The endpoints are unclear, setting up an opportunity for p-hacking

-The U.S. should be funding expanded use of the HepB birth dose in G-B and not experimenting

-CDC giving *unsolicited* grant (i.e. cronyism) for Hepatitis B vaccine study in Guinea-Bissau
-One in 5 ppl infected with Hep B there - so babies will be at higher risk of getting Hep B 😮
-We should be vaccinating at birth to prevent Hep B.

👉 DEEPLY UNETHICAL STUDY. WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
CDC awards $1.6 million for new hepatitis B vaccine study in Guinea-Bissau. Although the award recipients aren't named, the grant seems tailored to Danish researchers whose work is championed by anti-vaxxers but challenged by mainstream scientists.
