The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

What happens if you don’t do background checks or training for thousands of people and you give them all total authority?

ICE has been caught looting and destroying property at Pittsburgh restaurants. They even tried to break into the safes. They loaded food, supplies and equipment into vehicles

The FDA’s warning letter to Glenmark Pharmaceuticals comes after ProPublica’s reporting that one of its factories was responsible for an outsized share of recalls for pills that didn’t dissolve properly and could harm American patients.

Welp.

I am a huge Star Trek fan. Huge.

But I'm done with Paramount+. They canceled their DEI office and bribed a tyrant for this. I love my Trek friends, but I cannot use this streamer any more. This *sucks*.

A legal expert on public records law was appalled that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is claiming that emails between his office and Elon Musk are all private.

“It appears they’ve charged you $244 for records they have no intention of giving you,” he told @lmcgaughy.bsky.social.

Humble fired all their games publishing staff last year, they also ran bundles selling books on AI & crypto garbage, & now this?

If you want to support charity don't do it through Humble.
i swear at god. I got an email advertising this an hour ago.

@humblebundle.com a disclaimer saying that the charity was "not involved in the selection of the content in this promotion" and that the content "do[es] not reflect or represent the views and opinions" doesn't absolve you of anything

"Look like a girl, or else" is the deliberate and increasingly explicit threat.
This is the end result of anti-trans bigotry: more harassment of girls and women, more policing of gender roles, more gender McCarthyism.

The reason conservatives are still miserable when they win political supremacy is because they don’t also have cultural supremacy. Culture is a reaction to and a reflection of society and as a result runs counter to political power.

That is to say, they won’t be happy until you are silent

This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program. No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.

1. Call your reps about Trump's violation of the War Powers Act

2. Demand Congress haul Hegseth etc. in for hearings/briefings on justification

3. Demand to know why the Gang of Eight was not kept in the loop.

Do it NOW.

3. Sorry - one more thing.

If you're wondering why call Congress? This matters, especially if you have a Republican member. They like to pretend they're the party of national security.

Embarrass them. Demand to know why they didn't know about this. Ask how they feel having their power stripped-
