It is thought removing the two child benefit cap will lift 450,000 kids out of poverty. And that is what got the biggest jeer of the day from the Opposition.

Just remember. They may be flailing, failing & fading, but a lot of them are still total bastards who regard poverty as a moral failure.

Delighted to see the abolition of the two-child limit for means-tested benefits. We should never punish children for the so-called 'sins' of their parents. Children turning up at school too hungry to learn is no way to build a country fit for the future

So much of the UK’s steady decline post war can be explained by how easy it is for some people to fail upwards. Some spectacular examples with COVID and Brexit - often the same people in both. And easily identifiable by the frequency of their appearance on BBC Radio 4 Today programme

Chris Mason is what happens when a Hospital Radio DJ, whose sole qualification appears to be a sort of soporific inoffensiveness, is somehow promoted to BBC Politics Editor - a position that demands unflinching insight, objectivity, and sharpness. It's like a puddle trying to be the ocean.

Far, far too late.

The King and Royal Family covered for slimeball Andrew until they had no alternative.

This outdated hereditary institution is fundamentally rotten.

They even carry on using his far-right social network to promote government policy as he does it. The absence of backbone is *astounding*.

Labour doesn’t really have a ‘dilemma’. It has a choice: change direction or die. Keep chasing Reform voters and Labour will be wiped out in the local elections and then wiped out in the general election.

Remember that they’re supposed to be on the left, and they could still win it all again.
