"Forty-five percent" of US construction firms "report experiencing project delays due to shortages of their own, or subcontractors' workers."

A growing economic debacle. It does not have to be this way. Wise and visionary public policy can channel migration into lawful, orderly pathways.

What could one bad Chicago cop cost the taxpayers, Michael? $90M, 200 years of people wrongfully imprisoned, plus his salary, overtime, benefits, retirement plan, guns, cars & everything he can fit in his pockets out of the evidence room for over a decade?

I'm beginning to believe the US Supreme Court has already been replaced by AI.

Specifically the 'Conservatives':

Educated people who have spent their whole life in the law can't be this illogical, inconsistent, and dangerous. It must be an LLM that is consuming its priors and making a guess.

Justice Jackson is annoying the Republicans on the court and going beyond her fellow Democrats in making very sharp criticisms of recent rulings by the court's right-wing majority. That's leadership. She is the rare Dem in a powerful role meeting the moment. newrepublic.com/article/1975...

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

It's not just the political appointees either. I guarantee you that all of these ICE employees have had ethics training in prior administrations. I will not vote for a future candidate (Congress or Presidential) that does not promise to hold them accountable!
The party that subjected Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Michael Byrd, Ruby Freeman, Shaye Moss, Ashley Thomas and countless other public servants to death threats demand that you to stop posting the names of the ICE agents who are snatching innocent people off the street and disappearing them.
We don't have secret police in America. At least we're not supposed to.

We all want the same things, we just name them differently. 'Eat the tariffs' is really just a 'higher corporate income tax'.... would've been easier and more enforceable to do through congressional action than this way....

💯....one of the first things a democratic President and Congress needs to do, is to exact a price for all of this negative behavior. Near the top of my list - Nationalize SpaceX. All investors, not just Musk. They're not doing anything to stop this.....
👇🎯 Unprecedented crimes & constitutional failures now happening daily, because not enough people went to jail & ended up broke for all the massive crimes & unconstitutional things from Iran-Contra to GWB’s entire presidency to Trump I to January 6.
This is an enormous theft—not just privatizing a government function with a worse and more expensive for-profit substitute, but also a massive government financial data heist—and on the other side of it everyone needs to end up broke and imprisoned to deter them and others from doing it again.
