I'd prefer to turn them over to the ICC at the Hague....it would improve our relationship with our allies and the domestic 'political fight' would, I think, be quicker and less fraught.

.. and their behavior since then demands that the next democratic administration needs to continue to take it seriously and prioritize it in their policy.

Millennials like this saw Full Metal Jacket as kids and feel like they were cheated out of the full manhood initiation experience so they retcon their own pasts to sound more hooah.

DI’s and DS’s laying hands on recruits was verboten way back in the Reagan years, so miss me with that ”Back…

I can’t believe the TX National Guard’s intelligence unit is sophisticated enough to have a deep-cover Chicago operatives ready to deploy.

They snatched people a block away from my office here 2 days ago, l know for a fact at least one of them was legal. They wouldn't even listen to him. Left the company's equipment just laying on the ground on the side of the road. Now they want to federalize some of ILNG. This is bonkers.

I served for 29 yrs. All of Hegseth and Trump's complaints are a component of discipline and you cannot have a successful professional military force without discipline. What they want is what they are.....a mob.

My vote is to assign all of them to Recruiting Command

How come nobody is asking who the Commanders, Captains, and Admirals are who are committing war crimes along with the president? I'd like to see the entire chain of command down to the shooter named by the press. Maybe some interviews to hold them accountable as well.

Gotta love the 'conservatives' policing speech like the Stalinists they decried for 75 years.

They do it because truth and rationality is not on their side and they know it will win out eventually. They just hope they can outrun the consequences that are coming for them.

I have been saying this for days! As a retired officer, I am incredibly disappointed in our military leadership. I demand that the next Dem president sign the Rome Statute, repeal the ASPA and turn everyone in the chain of command (re: Venezuela shooting) over to the ICC - including PresIdent Trump.

Back door justice- turn Trump over to the Hague in a new Dem administration; since the Supreme Court says he can't be prosecuted here for his official duties. It would go a long way to kissing and making up with our allies.

Dems are going to need to do some serious due diligence on who is hired/rehired/kept on into a new administration - at all levels of government. The good news is Republicans have shown them the way on firing and removing people who will not toe the line....they should use it just as ruthlessly.

The Guard has very complicated and overlapping authorities. There are many norms that are being trampled over with this administration.

This was usually under the provisions of the Emergency Management Assistance Compact EMAC (I can't think of an instance when it wasn't), a Fed Law since 1996. Before that it was more informal. Another part of this is that the receiving states law is primary. States or Feds could provide the funding.
