I can't stress enough how much we make fun of "idea guys"
One thing that doing creative work teaches you is that ideas are worth nothing. Anybody can have an idea. In a writers room you have to come up with a hundred ideas a day, and most of those don’t make the page. It’s the work of making something that gives it value. The patina of humanity.

artists have been fighting for the right to be obscene for centuries. ive watched reactionary conservative thought infect artistic communities for over a decade, and the normalization of anti sex and anti kink (and ANTI QUEER) rhetoric in leftist spaces absolutely got us here faster.

i keep remembering there's an entire part of the hades fandom that hasn't played any hades 2 yet. viewed in total, it's hard to overstate just how much of an absolutely massive, expansive game hades 2 is compared to 1 (not to mention every detail is utterly gorgeous).
