I am a NIH RECOVER Patient Rep. Something that comes up frequently is the question of how to inform doctors so they will both take precautions and inform patients. Do you have any suggestions for how to get doctors to act on the knowledge of airborne pathogens?

Like...this is the biggest corruption scandal the NIH has experienced in its entire history and its not even close. Half of a BILLION dollars to a single project as a result of political spoils. That's the equivalent of several hundred R01s.

DHS just lies constantly but this time they let the truth slip. DHS will arrest you if you are Hispanic PLUS literally any other thing that they think is correlated statistically with being here illegally; occupation, English speaking ability, the neighborhood, etc. It is sick.

Holy hell. DHS just openly stated that its agents use “reasonable suspicion” to make ARRESTS. This is blatantly unconstitutional. The Supreme Court is clear that you need probable cause to arrest someone, as opposed to stop them to ask them a question or two. This is huge b/c…

I used to lose 6-8 weeks out of every year to respiratory viruses. As a massage therapist, I already can’t handle more than part time but losing gigs around the holidays and Valentines really, truly hurts my annual take home. Since masking, I’ve lost zero days to being sick. None. Anxiety? Money!

Shame on the Daily Mail for psychologizing Violet Affleck.

Being a lone masker is hard.

It takes courage, confidence and a commitment to protecting your health & the health of those around you.

It’s not “anxiety” to want to avoid a multi system vascular virus.

It’s adaptation.

#MECFSis my cage. I have moderate to severe ME. It is a serious, chronic, multi-system, complex neuroimmune disease. My quality of life is low.

Today is #MillionsMissing, recognizing the debilitating neuro disease I have, ME/CFS. It has no approved treatment and is NIH’s most underfunded disease by impact.

Could you help us change that by joining this call for funding? Takes 1 min, open globally, wins my eternal gratitude <3
