I cringe every time a tv show mentions Covid because it's always a very one-dimensional opinion, like how hard it was not seeing friends and family.

As someone on a pretty decent salary who is still cut off from ever owning a home in Aotearoa because I don’t subscribe to the patriarchal norm of having to be married/partnered to afford property/I don’t have the generational wealth privileged people access, tiny homes seem like a win, Opposition 🤔

Youth unemployment rate is now over 16% (1 in 6). The underutilisation rate - young people wanting work or more work - is 38% ffs - 190,000 young kiwis. That's nearly half of the total. It took a fking decade for youth unemployment to recover last time. Same plan this time. No plan.
