Please remember that President Carter appointed more minorities and women to the bench than all previous presidents combined. He was the first President to embrace the concept of bringing racial diversity to the federal bench. A key aspect of his legacy.

If you fight anti-vax misinformation by focusing SOLELY on 'but vaccines don't cause autism' then you fail to tackle the foundation.
Push back against the idea that it's better to be dead than autistic.

It's not enough to let people know that vaccines don't cause autism. We also have to affirm that autism is not something to fear, that autistic lives are worth living and supporting, and that autistic people deserve to exist and be loved.

A kiddo is diagnosed as Autistic in young age, gets awesome supports, loving parents, does quite well.
Years later parent says, "I don't know if they're REALLY Autistic, they don't have meltdowns or self harm!"
Therapist: "That doesn't mean they're not Autistic.
