New here and a little concerned that a better name would be “blood red” sky or “smoke filled” sky given 2025

New Columbus Crew DP Wessam Abou Ali is a Palestinian international. It appears that #Crew96 fans will not be permitted to bring the flag of his nation into their stadium.

The @nordecke.com asked the Crew to ask MLS for an exception. It’s unclear whether they will.

Window opens tomorrow, and so far very little as far as rumors or anything related to who might be coming in. Forget 2025, the implications if this team can't get a significant piece in could spell trouble for 2026. Tik tok, Ally #DCU

As an American Brentford fan I see why Ponch would want to leave the USMNT for Brentford, but I don’t see Brentford wanting him. I bet someone’s agent planted that story

An update on Club World Cup Bonuses.

MLS spent most of last week making threats and promising retaliation against the MLSPA & players because Seattle players wore t-shirts that expressed frustration over the league’s refusal to engage about Club World Cup compensation.

Listen, anybody who cares about soccer - football, whatever you want to call it - does not give a shit about Gianni Infantino being interviewed by “iShowspeed.” Even typing that was painful.

Solidarity with the whole Backline, especially Brigada de Oro. The Nashville FO has a lot of questions to answer.
At the Nashville SC game, a giant flag for La Brigada de Oro, the Latino supporters section, which is not here tonight due to ICE activity. NSC officials tried to remove it, but were met with vehement objections by supporters clubs, who threatened a giant walkout if they did.

I don’t know how today went. I’m not even supposed to comment on it. I was busy. Today I produced a Tiny Desk, talked to students interested in the music industry, edited a script and attended a taping. I do the work. I want to do the work.

Good: Pirani, Benteke (even with the missed penalty), Herrera, and of course Murrell.
Bad: Schnegg (better second half), Kim, set piece defending.
Again it is individual moments that forced DC into this position. It was nice to see that just a little bit of depth allowed them to shift the game #DCU
