Seen some rumors Hamburger SV might be looking to terminate his contract. So maybe he is free and cheap depth. He would still burn an international slot. Either way, I'm getting nervous about Herrera... #DCU

Adjusted 2026 cap is expected to be ~$3.7M per league source.

Nope I think he returns to Korea. I think the idea is that he performs well and Suwon get promoted or another K1 team swoops in.
Let’s say he has a successful loan spell. Do you think he’ll play again for DC, or is the intent purely to sell him off?

Boris Enow's departure from D.C. United was a free transfer triggered by the club's failure to make the MLS playoffs, per source. Beitar Jerusalem announced his signing Dec. 24. DCU had paid $2 million+ for him 18 months ago.

Badji is expected. Schnegg is a bit of a surprise to me, but also not a surprise. Rene, Sogut, and Kasper continuing to clear out the old GM signings. Granted at a much faster pace than the previous GM.

#DCU need chance creation and improvement in the CM. Korenica could provide that while also giving the team someone familiar to link with their record signing. Obviously a largely unproven player. -T

Difficult to know if DC stood a chance at getting Espinoza, but man this would have been a elite move. You would have been able to legitimately say they improved everywhere they needed to heading into 2026. #DCU
