Redevelopment of the station area can't come quick enough which comes under the remit of North Lincolnshire Council and has done since 1996.

No real time information on the station, if the trains are late IGLRG volunteers have to inform the customers.

Reverse culture shock is a thing!

Once I was back in the UK, I forgot that the UK drives on the opposite side of the road to most of mainland Europe, that Mcdoggnalds in the UK is relatively cheap and UK public transport doesn't always turn up.

#Brussels 🇧🇪 in March 2002: an #SNCB #NMBS Class 20 electric is seen here with a #EuroCity consist. This used to be the usual setup for loco-hauled trains on the line to #Luxembourg 🇱🇺 for many years: the six-axle Class 20 was able to develop the power necessary on the gradients of the #Ardennes line.
