The next FREE station-to-station walk is Sat 31 Jan - 10.35am - Brampton to Halesworth, "The Wolfpack Walk." 5 miles – 2.5 hours. Woodland, peaceful countryside, and a mystical dragon! Plenty of choice for food and drink at Halesworth. No need to book - Dogs welcome!

Our friends @eastsuffolkone.bsky.social Radio sent this lovely photo of #Beccles station this morning with its lovely running-in board (on the non-operational section of the island platform, hence the snowy surface there). Very nostalgic looking combined with the lattice historical footbridge.

We had a record turnout on our FREE Christmastime guided walk around Sutton Hoo on Saturday! 128 humans & 9 dogs took part in the 5 mile circular from Melton station. It was great to see so many new faces & lots of old friends, both human & K9!

What a great day out for 30 Ukrainian refugees as we hopped on the train at #Ipswich to Visit Felixstowe! Santa & Community Rail Officer Thalia handed out head bobbles and mince pies on board. At #Felixstowe we met the Mayor, enjoyed skating, bouncing wires, bouncy cats, snow disco, dj and more.

It's beginning to look a lot like Xmas at Westerfield station. 20 folks decorated wooden ornaments, tied with string and glazed, ready for.....your home! It's all thanks to Sandy & Yvonne, the volunteer station adopters. This morning they were attached to the platform fence for anyone to take home!
