So payment processors act all iffy about artists making money from drawing naked consenting adults blowing each other, but in the meantime, they have no qualms financing LITERAL SEX TRAFFICKING RINGS?!

Hey. This is the BEST POSSIBLE SEASON to badger Visa and Mastercard into fucking off about their shitty fake-moral-panic over LGBTQ+ spending habits and content on retail platforms.

Fuck ALL THE WAY OFF, VISA and Mastercard. No one wants to hear jack shit from you. You're a fucking receipt printer.
Please continue making calls to Visa and Mastercard, because they are working alongside conservative legislators to crack down on free speech and expression!

A dual pronged offense requires a dual pronged defense!
#SaveSpeech

starting Nov 1st we're entering the holiday season, which is a big stress point for big businesses like Mastercard and Visa. These Paypros havent stopped cracking down on Adult Content, so we need to jump back into calling them in full force again!

"The PC should be able to act on your behalf."
Absolutely fuck off with that bullshit. Take that wretched thought and shove it so deeply up your own ass a team of highly trained surgeons can never retrieve it. Why would I want my pc acting on hallucinations?

UK Gouvernment: Payment Processors Can Ban NSFW Content
According to the UK treasury, payment processors are in the right and the gouvernment has no plans to step in. This puts it in direct contrast to what artists and the UK games industry have asked for.

I'm getting really fed up with how shit the backwards compatibility is on the Switch 2. Half of the switch 1 games I bought on Switch 2 suffer from random crashes, and it's so tiring. Why list them as compatible if they're all plagued with these issues. Simply won't buy any more. You can't trust it.

If anyone needed evidence that their end goal is the erasure of queer visibility, and possibly even our existence itself, here it is. This is an existential threat.

We really need an equivalent of common carrier laws for all infrastructure. Payment processors should be obligated to process all legal transactions. They shouldn't have any more say in it than my electric company can decide what I'm allowed to plug in.

It would be REALLY funny if Visa suddenly got tips from thousands of people reporting every store that has ever carried an official Star Wars movie.

Those are just jam-packed with 'non-consentual mutilation of a person or body part', which is apparently against the rules to distribute.
Make sure to call Visa before making any purchase and ask if it would bring them disrepute, just to be safe.

there's an episode of The Simpsons where Marge tries to get a violent cartoon pulled from the airwaves, only to discover that the people backing her aren't going to stop at just the art that *she* doesn't like, and that supporting artistic freedom means accepting discomfort.

It aired in 1990.

I cannot describe how fucking happy it makes me seeing journalists just pointing out that they're lying. Once again, if you're calling, bringing up these articles as why you're calling is a VERY good idea.

Why are they lying? Why are they refusing to process legal transactions?
