In almost anywhere on the political spectrum you ID with or major issue, there’s probably a bot/troll operation to encourage your rage and vitriol.
And how/where that rage gets directed, esp understandable rage, is what they are out to influence.

People on this app get really angry every time I point out that social media manipulation is a real phenomenon that we are all stewing in and that’s having real world consequences and I’m sure part of that is engagement farmers who do that manipulation not liking people talking about it

It is really really sinking in for me the degree to which LLMs are the ultimate expression of right wing anti-intellectualism. Its proponents are literally mocking the idea that anyone would ever want to learn anything, know anything, develop any actual skill, or have a thought of their own.

I forgot to acknowledge the 10-year anniversary of To Pimp a Butterfly. It’s one of the most perfect albums of all time—definitely in my top five, and it might even be top two. Oddly enough, my favorite Kendrick Lamar album is Mr. Morale, but I think TPAB (and GKMC) are better albums.
