Hey everybody - I was raptured, but then chose to return to Earth to aid all sentient beings in their quest for nirvana. This may not have been the eschatology you were expecting but my advice is to start practicing compassion and loving kindness right now. Svaha!

“It’s a dogwhistle” actually the term is double entendre. Because “good genes” is the polite way of saying a girl has a huge rack. She has a huge rack. It’s like carpet walls humor.

Seeing the “Sydney Sweeney has good jeans” fauxtroversy and I legitimately think allowing people to learn the word dogwhistle was a mistake. I feel like at this point its usage is batting on average just slightly above QAnon numerology.

My feelings on the latest Sydney Sweeney discourse is that she was in Madame Web and Madame Web’s real name is Cassandra Webb because she sees the future like Cassandra and Webb is kind of like Web and she’s a Spiderman

I wrote about the Sydney Sweeney jeans discourse and broken informations systems that make talking to each other impossible (in fact it's not even the goal). Context collapse is just how people (and brands!) communicate now. www.theatlantic.com/technology/a...

That’s not necessarily a good thing.

Watters: Jerome Powell should be replaced by Sydney Sweeney. The guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about… The tariffs are going to give us stimmy checks!

Gutfeld: That’s a terrible idea.

The thing about the Sydney Sweeney jeans ads is that Donald Trump is in the Epstein files and still refuses to release them.

A message I just got from a buddy of mine, who’s a long time Democratic Party campaign consultant: “This Sydney Sweeney thing is the kind of thing that turns men away from our party. It’s why men think our party is weak & insane.”

My response to him? “Fuck yea it is. You are exactly right.”

My crankiest belief is that we are now being sold on solutions to problems which only exist because we've let others convince us they exist. That is what "innovation" seems to be in 2025.

There's a level of introspection that's just not happening these days re: what actually needs to bother us.
