There is a humorous error message in Paper Mario: Color Splash. When loading Luigi, the game does a quick "bone check" to see if his position is defined. If he fails his bone check, the developer console prints out "Luigi is elegal!!", likely a misspelling of "Luigi is illegal".

The whole "the Old Magic sucks because material conditions have advanced" thing, but applied to cinematic martial arts. No, yeah, the legends are true, that move USED TO explode a man's entire skeleton, but you need to understand that people had more fragile bones back then. Poor nutrition, you see.

I feel like some folks would be happier in furry if people realized that this community is a loose federation of many, many smaller collectives and if you are at odds with everybody around you the solution is not to make broad proclamations about "the fandom" but to actually find your people

Hearing "American Pie" on the radio last night, I realized folks in the 70s said heavy metal was "the devil's music", but said the same thing about rock music in the 50s and jazz in the 30s. Acts like the Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath just leaned into the Satanic imagery as a counterculture thing
