I've been drawing more and drawing faster again. Trying not to overhype myself, but if this keeps up, that means I'll be able to do more 2D animation again and I'm really excited for that possibility.

Continuing to improve in some pretty substantial ways. I've been drawing a ton lately and really getting back in touch with my sense of self.
I'm still not the biggest fan of social media, but I would like to start posting stuff again soon, just to share a bit of the fun I've been having.

Finally feeling better, good enough to enjoy and take in the new space.
Head is clearer, way less stressed, much happier. Days feel more meaningful. It's getting a lot easier to draw routinely again so that's something we can both look forward to

I sometimes think about how good designs can make great intentional use of tangents, especially cartoony characters like Mickey Mouse or Sonic.
And I wonder if the "tangents are bad!" oversimplification is part of why people sometimes struggle with them or add awkward details that break good flow.
