For the past week and a half, I feel like I've started to rekindle the joy of having made something and a sense of pride in my work, a feeling I haven't felt in years.
I've enjoyed the process, but usually I feel nothing after the fact, so this is a nice change.

There's a lot of art that I used to be really proud of that's a bit too old and, frankly, ugly to share these days.
Don't take this to mean I'm ashamed of the effort I put in back in the day, but I consider them more "stepping stones" and they don't represent who I am now.

Therapy is working, I'm getting to the source. This week I think I've found the biggest source of art block (among other things) that has plagued me for at least 15 years that I memory holed.

Little thread where I talk about subpixel animation and share some of my own resources I made to study it better.
This is a circle I rendered in blender slowly crawling up 2 pixels over the course of 17 frames.
